GEORGE CARLIN R.I.P...

MANIK pays HOMAGE to a Legend of his own Humility and Humor.
George Denis Carlin was born in New York City on May 12, 1937 on West 121st Street in Manhattan; Yes, Uptown.

He was 71 and lived in Venice, California; the cause of his passing was heart failure... He evolved from an easy going/casual buttoned-down decorum in the ’60s to counterculture hero in the ’70s. By the ’80s, he was known as a hyper social critic, writing sketches based on contemporary language like the oxymoron IE.“jumbo shrimp”, or furious social commentary based upon his observations of the absurdities of everyday life and language; One of his most famous routines would be the profane “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television”. During a career that spanned five decades, Mr. Carlin became to be known as one of the most popular, durable, productive and versatile comedians of his era. He will be missed.
