During the weekend, Two very influential artist's past away very suddenly. The lost is unfortunate and they both will be missed. The only thing we all have to appreciate is the legacy's the two have left behind... All kingdoms fall; it's the contributions, people influenced, and what we all do while we're here... Those are the reasons for us to be remembered...

Born Isaac Lee Hayes, Jr. (August 20, 1942 – August 10, 2008) was an American soul and funk singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, arranger, composer and actor. This morning Hayes was found dead in his home, cuase of death is still unknown.

Born Bernard Jeffrey McCullough (October 5, 1957 – August 9, 2008), known by the stage name as Bernie Mac. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago... Mac suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. On August 9, his publicist announced that Mac had died from complications of pneumonia unrelated to sarcoidosis.
